Years ago I asked my dental hygienist if mouthwash was a good idea and also which brand did she recommend? The answer was the gold color and flavor of a popular brand of mouthwash, I’m sure you’ve heard of it. She said if it burns then its working. I didn’t think much of it until I recently reviewed all the hygiene products I’ve been using, for years I’ve been using some of these. Cost was a motivating factor as was did it work. Detergent, deodorant, toothpaste, mouthwash, soap, moisturizers.
Our skin is the largest organ of our bodies. Whatever you put on your skin, some of which will be absorbed into your body. Your body will have no choice but to process it. Liver, kidneys, fat. We forget how much our bodies have to put up with just in the crap we eat and drink. Now think about perfumes, cologne, sunscreen, lotions, moisturizers that have great marketing but really are a bunch of chemicals. We rub and spray it ALL over our bodies.

Does that make it ok?
I know what your thinking because I thought the same thing. Oh well, its just a little of this, little of that. They sell it at the store, the FDA hasn’t said anything. People have been using this stuff or ever. Does that make it ok? People were using Roundup for years too!
Back to my dental hygienist. If it burns it its working. Look most mouth wash. It’s got as much alcohol as vodka! Ya, that doesn’t make sense if you think about it. Burning your mouth out with alcohol twice a day doesn’t seem like a healthy thing to do. Your killing everything in your mouth, even the good bacteria.
